IUPUI celebrated the 43rd annual Martin Luther King Jr. Gala this weekend, with Elaine Brown, a contemporary of King's, as the featured speaker. The event was held at The Indiana Roof Ballroom.

The Roof was fully decked out in all its glory for the event, the longest-running MLK celebration in Indianapolis.
IUPUI student LaMesha Augustine was a featured singer at the gala.
Brown spoke about the legacy left by Dr. King.
