Promotion Cases for All Academic Ranks and Tenure Cases in Professorial Ranks
- February 27, 2009: The due date for promotion and/or tenure dossiers to be received by the Office of the Executive Vice President to ensure action in the 2008-9 academic year. Dossiers are transmitted to the EVP Office through the Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs Office on each campus. All Vice Chancellors are encouraged to send them in advance of this deadline.
All academic rank promotions must be acted on by the Board of Trustees, including professorial ranks, lecturers, and clinical ranks.
Sabbatical Leave Cases
- February 20, 2009: The Executive Vice President has been charged with approving all requests for sabbatical leave. For those cases recommended by campus Chancellors, please submit recommendations for 2008-9 leaves to the EVP Office by this date. Approval by the EVP will, in part, depend on previously submitted reports on prior leaves.
Reminder: Faculty returning from leave must submit a report of that leave within 3 months of his/her return to campus. A copy of this report will need to be forwarded to the Office of the EVP.
