Technology Enhances Learning

IUPUI is at the forefront of integrating technology and learning. Many of our schools offer classes via the web. Others offer you podcasts - recording of lectures you can download and listen on your computer or portable music device. And many of our courses are available via streaming video on the web, on DVD or broadcast on cable television.

Interested in interacting with students in other countries, right from your IUPUI classroom? Interactive global dialogue courses link you to students in foreign lands for group discussions, assignments and presentations, all using state-of-the-art technology. High-tech systems like the IUPUI-based Internet2 global network link you to your counterparts on the other side of the world.

How about taking classes 21st century style? Almost every course utilizes Oncourse, a web site that allows you to view course materials online, take quizzes and tests, view course syllabi and grades, and much more. As an IUPUI student, you'll use Oncourse often.
