| Overview | The Department offers both undergraduate and graduate programs.
At the undergraduate level the student may elect either the standard or the quantitative track to the BA degree. At the graduate level the student may elect to pursue an MA or a PhD degree. The MA can be obtained by completing our Master of Arts program. Students who are interested in the MA degree as an end should elect that program. But students who pursue the PhD will typically earn an MA degree as well after their first two years of study. The PhD offers two fields of specialization: Health Economics and Economics of Philanthropy/Nonprofits. All degrees are granted under the auspices of Indiana University. |
