| Overview | The purpose of the new Computer Engineering Technology program is to train engineering technicians and technologists to design, develop and implement modern computer-based applications. The CpET program is offered by a partnership arrangement between the departments of Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology and Computer and Information Technology. The technical portion of the program is a combination of revised ECET courses, CIT courses, and new CpET courses. A major emphasis of the CpET program is practice-oriented, hands-on training in laboratories for each CpET course to provide students and graduates with a rich experience in computer applications. |
