| Overview | The PhD Program in Health Policy and Management is designed for students interested in pursuing advanced graduate education in health policy, health services, and health care management. As a core discipline within the field of public health, health policy and management focuses on the creation of new knowledge and the application of research findings to improve the effectiveness of public health and health service organizations within and across the public, private, and non-profit sectors both domestically and internationally. Graduates will be trained to develop and conduct health policy, health services, and health management research and to translate, apply, and communicate their findings to improve the public’s health. |
