| Overview | Herron’s new M.F.A. in Photography and Intermedia takes an integrative approach to image-based art making. It supports students interested in working across medium boundaries to create unique interfaces for public engagement. The program not only concentrates on contemporary photographic practices but also media often associated with photography such as video, sound, performance, installation and interdisciplinary work—possibly outside any traditionally defined art media. By offering a creative and supportive environment, the M.F.A. in Visual Arts with an emphasis in Photography and Intermedia strives to advance image-based artists who want to explore new arenas of art making. |
