It includes the design of solar and wind power plants, fuel-cell and hybrid cars, more energy-efficient homes and industrial processes, and safer nuclear power plants and oil wells, more energy-efficient homes and industrial processes. Energy engineers apply science, math, economics, and their own creativity to overcome the global challenges of energy supply and use, as well as environment protection. Energy engineers create new energy sources that are renewable, reduce greenhouse gas emissions from fossil fuels, and make our world more energy-efficient. |
