Overview Are you concerned about the safety of our nation's food supply? What about the air we breathe and the water we drink? What about the safety and health of our workplaces, homes, and public buildings? Students majoring in The Indiana University School of Medicine DPH program are trained to address these and other pressing environmental health problems through a curriculum that blends science, management, and policy.

Environmental health is the branch of public health that is concerned with how the natural and man-made environment influences human health and disease. Environmental health professionals are engaged in the investigation, management, research, education, and solution of environmental health issues and problems.
