| Overview | The major in Public Safety Management integrates key elements of public affairs with the administration of emergency services, the principles of public safety, and the art of decision-making. This exciting, interdisciplinary program will train you for a leadership role in the management of life-saving public services (including fire and EMT), disaster preparedness, homeland security, and private-sector security.
At IUPUI we will prepare you for an impact career in public safety management through a broad curriculum involving the study of public safety, criminal justice, financial management, terrorism and public policy, public management, emergency services administration, solid and hazardous waste management, research methods, and GIS techniques. |
