Overview	The nursing education major is a 42-credit-hour program. The proposed course of study provides focused consideration of nursing education theory, practices, and principles. A supervised teaching practicum composed of 135 hours and special topics seminar are integrated into a capstone cluster of courses. Graduates of this program are prepared to launch a career in teaching in schools of nursing or serve as a nurse educator in a variety of healthcare contexts or settings.
