Welcome! We are the Career Services Council, a decentralized group of career development professionals representing a variety of schools and departments at IUPUI. Our goal is to help students, employers, and IUPUI faculty and staff connect with the appropriate resource for their current needs.
Many schools on campus provide career resources to their students for articulating and achieving career goals, obtaining experience through jobs and internships, and obtaining employment upon graduation. For the services available in each academic unit, please visit School-Specific Career Services.
If your school is not listed, please contact the Office of Academic and Career Development. Academic and Career Development can offer general information for students exploring majors and careers, as well as information about the search for student employment.
Experiential Learning Transcript Notations
If your class includes an internship, practicum, international, or community-based component, consider using the Experiential Learning Transcript Notations to help your students document their hard work in the community.
Working on resumes, cover letters, interviewing or networking? Check out our Resources page for information from a variety of sources and academic areas.
Campus Career Courses
The RISE to the IUPUI Challenge initiative engages students more deeply in their learning and contributes to their intellectual and professional development in unique ways. Each undergraduate student is challenged to include at least two of the four RISE experiences — research, international, service learning, and experiential learning —into their degree programs.
The IUPUI Solution Center can assist you in developing business, industry, government, and nonprofit organizations in providing presentations and “real world” information for your classes and research projects. 317-278-9170, firstname.lastname@example.org
