William Hunt is chairman of Hunt Capital Partners, LLC, a venture capital and consulting firm based in Indianapolis, and devotes a substantial amount of volunteer time to Indiana University in its economic engagement initiatives, including chairman of Advancing Indiana. Before the July 2000 merger of Arvin Inc. and Meritor Automotive Inc., Hunt was chairman and CEO of Arvin, a global manufacturer of automotive components. He is a member of the Indiana University Kelley School of Business Dean's Advisory Council, IU School of Law Board of Visitors, and the Indiana University Well House Society. In addition, Mr. Hunt serves as a director of the Indiana University Foundation, Indiana University Research and Technology Corporation, Clarian Health Partners, InProteo, Easter Seals Crossroads and the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. He is chairman of the Columbus Learning Center Management Corporation and a director of the Heritage Fund of Bartholomew County. Hunt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University. He is also a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program. |
