Phil Eskew is retired from 33 years as an obstetrician/gynecologist. He served as the ob/gyn residency director and medical director of women and infant services at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He is also a Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the IU School of Medicine. In addition to a number of boards and organizations he is involved with, Dr. Eskew is the state Prematurity Chair for the March of Dimes; and serves on the Indiana Medicaid Drug Utilization Review Board. Dr. Eskew has been a member of the Board of Trustees for Indiana University since July 2006. He is also President of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame and an inductee; an inductee in the DePauw University Athletic Hall of Fame; a life member of the IU Alumni Association; and a member of Wells House, the Arbutus Society, the Hoosier Hundred, and the Warsaw Rotary Club. He is also a 33rd degree Scottish Rite Mason.
Dr. Eskew received his B.A. from DePauw University and his M.D. from the IU School of Medicine.
