Roland Dorson has served as president of the Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce since January 2006. Prior to joining the Chamber in 1991 as executive vice president, Mr. Dorson served as vice president of the Indiana Retail Council, media director and caucus assistant in the Indiana state senate and press secretary for a gubernatorial campaign.

Mr. Dorson serves on a number of community boards including the United Way of Central Indiana, the Urban League, the Center for Leadership Development, the Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee, the Indiana Legal Foundation, the Skyline Club and the Asian American Alliance.

Dorson graduated from Indiana University and is working on a master’s degree at Christian Theological Seminary.
