Illinois September, 2003-December 2004 UNIVERSITY TEACHING EXPERIENCECredit coursesCreating an Effective Learner-Centered Web Site, Indiana University School of Education 1999-2006 EDUC F500/W505 is a letter-graded three-credit graduate course delivered entirely online in a seven-week intensive format. It teaches adult learners how to create educational Web sites with a learner-centered focus, thereby developing analytical and critical thinking skills, creating audience profiles, and managing project planning. Evaluation is based upon development of planning documents and a completed Web portfolio. The course enrolls an average of twenty-four learners per offering. Information Networking, Indiana University School of Library and Information Science 2000 SLIS L571, a letter-graded three-credit graduate course teaching the fundamentals of hypertext mark-up language, validation, cascading style sheets, information literacy, and content development. In summer 2000, the course was delivered entirely online in a seven-week intensive format. It is a required course, developed by Howard Rosenbaum, in the Master of Library and Information Science curriculum. The summer 2000 ocurse enrolled twenty-six students.
