1. What would you say is the overriding reason people choose not to donate organs? Do myths about body mutilation or religious beliefs play a large part in their decisions?

2. I have read many different pieces of statistical information about the number of people who donate organs, who need organs and who have received organs, and none of the numbers are the same, could you point me to what you believe is the best and most current statistical information that you use in your work?

3. What are some of the newest types of ways IOPO is using to get the word out to people asking them to donate organs, and do you think these methods will show an increase in donation possibly?

4. Where does the funding that you receive to pay for organ removal come from?

5. Pennsylvania is planning to start rewarding the families of people who donate organs with a stipend of almost three hundred dollars going towards funral arrangments. Do you find this an ethical way of procuring organs? Do you believe this trend will spread to other states in order to increase donation?

6. What resources do you use when you need information on the latest organ donation news? I have had a difficult time locating any other information other than on the web and in medical journals.

7. Is there any specific focus you would like me to look at when conducting my research?

8. Is the way we distribute organs through UNOS completely fair? There are many myths about people being able to use money through donations in order to get transplants faster, does this myth have any validity?

The presumed consent of organ donors is an issue I have trouble understanding, could we discuss what the idea is actually about and the legality issues that are involved?
