Applications
In order to be considered for IUPUI scholarships, you must fill out a scholarship application. You can either fill out an application from your personal computer and mail it to the Scholarship Office or come to IUPUI and pick up an application.
Adobe Acrobat Reader makes it possible for you to fill out an application from your computer and have it look just as good as the typical application. In fact, it may look better because you can type in the fields using your computer instead of using a pen or typewriter.
If you do not have a printer attached to your
computer or if you have problems with Adobe
Acrobat Reader, please seek assistance at your local library, school, or
university. Someone there will be able to help you.
Instructions
To download the application:
- Click on the application for the scholarship you are interested in.
- If you have Adobe Acrobat, a new window will open up with the application in it and you can fill it out from inside your web browser! Otherwise, it will ask you where to save it and then you can save it wherever you want on your hard drive (be sure to remember where you saved it because you will need to find it later).
To download Adobe Acrobat Reader:
- Click on the words " Adobe Acrobat Reader" and you will be taken to the Adobe page. Look for a link that says "Acrobat Reader" at the bottom of the page and click on it.
- Follow the instructions on the Adobe web site and install the program.
To fill out the application:
- Now that you have downloaded and installed Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can open the application finding it on your computer and double-clicking on it or by downloading it from IUPUI again and then opening it.
- Once it is open, click the cursor on the empty fields (Name, Address, Skills, etc.) and type in your answers.
- When you have answered all the questions, print out the form and mail it to the IUPUI Scholarship Office along with any required supporting materials.
