IUPUI SENIOR ACADEMY SOCIAL COMMITTEEHappily AnnouncesOur Spring Overnight Trip Wednesday May 3rd Senior Academy members can plan for another beautiful trip to Southern Indiana this spring. We will tour Indiana's first State capital in historic Corydon, the beautiful Culbertson Mansion in New Albany, and then spend a restful night in the cozy and comfortable Leavenworth Inn. The Inn is located on scenic State Road 62 and overlooks the beautiful Ohio River. We can really enjoy the quiet beauty of the Inn with its spacious grounds and gardens, and idyllic front porch rockers. All 16 rooms of the Inn are reserved for the Senior Academy for the night of May 3rd. We have a special group rates for these rooms. This trip will include many interesting activities in the Corydon area. There will be a tour of a local glass factory, many antique shops to visit in both Corydon and Leavenworth, and dinner at the famous Overlook Restaurantwhich perches on the top of the cliffs overlooking the Ohio River. Other optional activities Thursday might include a visit to the Wyandotte Cave, a tour of a local winery, or a visit to Falls of the Ohio State Park. More details will be provided later, but it is important to send in the reservation form as soon as possible. The cost of rooms at the Leavenworth Inn is $93.91 per room includes tax, plus a $10.00 coupon, per couple, for breakfast at the Overlook Restaurant. The tour of the Corydon Capitol will be $3.00.
