WHAT: Orientation to research efforts at IUPUI sponsored by Research and Sponsored Programs

Come get acquainted with the Research and Sponsored Program (R&SP) Office and learn about the many research resources available to you as you pursue research activities here at IUPUI. You will have a chance to meet key R&SP staff and some of the campus research center directors and key personnel.

WHO: New and Existing Faculty interested in the conduct of research

Although this invitation is primarily targeted to new faculty, R&SP welcomes anyone just getting started with research, as well.

WHEN: August 16, 2005 (8:30 am – 11:00 am)

This brief research orientation is strategically scheduled and logistically positioned to coincide with the main IUPUI New Faculty Orientation event that is to take place in the Informatics and Communications Technology Complex (ICTC) building, but will begin at 1:00 pm. We want to make it as convenient as possibly for new faculty to join us for a short time and then move into the main orientation event.

WHERE: The Informatics and Communications Technology Complex (ICTC), Room 252 Auditorium

A brief presentation will be given. There will also be a research centers poster session setup in the corridor outside the room. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet and speak with center directors and key personnel before and after the presentation.

Pizza will be served at the end of this event!
