Keynote Address by IUPUI Chancellor Bantz and VPR McRobbie
Don't miss this opportunity to meet with other faculty researchers, administrators, and graduate students and learn the tips and techniques that work in the “real” world of award administration. With a focus on “Facing the Challenges of Research and Sponsored Programs Administration Together”, the Research Symposium Spring 2004 will feature keynote speakers IUPUI Chancellor Charles R. Bantz and IU Vice President for Research Michael A. McRobbie. The Spring Symposium will be presented on Tuesday, April 13, 2004, 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the IUPUI University Library Lilly Auditorium by the IU research and sponsored programs offices. NIH Announces Change in Salary Cap

NSF Publishes Guide for Proposal Writing
The National Science Foundation (NSF) recently published “A Guide for Proposal Writing.” The document, while specifically prepared for programs in Division of Undergraduate Education, provides valuable information for proposal writing in general. Bantz to Speak Apr 8 at Fifth Annual IUPUI Symposium Highlighting the Research of Faculty, Staff and Students of Color
IUPUI Chancellor Charles R. Bantz will provide remarks on the research that is being presented and celebrated during this Symposium sponsored by the IUPUI Office for Multicultural Professional Development. A wide spectrum of oral and poster presentations by IUPUI faculty, students, and staff of color will be featured. CTP Announces Clinical Research Educational Opportunities for 2004
The Clinical Trials Program (CTP) is pleased to announce expanded continuing education opportunities for 2004 for clinical research faculty, coordinators, and their support staff. Educational programs of topical and practical interest will be presented each month that are appropriate for both new and experienced faculty and staff involved in all types of clinical research, i.e. investigator-initiated, NIH, and commercially-sponsored.
