October 2003
Congratulations Pam!

Among the guests attending the Chancellor's Employee Recognition Convocation were many of Pam’s colleagues and friends. Mark L. Brenner, Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Education - Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and Associate Vice President for Research – Indiana University, holds Pam’s professional expertise in high regard and commented, “Pam McKeough has clearly earned the reputation of being “THE” expert on Federal agency policy and regulations as related to contracts and grants. Pam has been the energetic and creative director of the Sponsored Programs Office in Research since 1987, when she became director of the office. Pam is one of those special people within the University who is absolutely committed to getting the job done. We have truly been blessed to have her as a staff member for the past 30 years.” Another appreciative colleague, Steve Martin, Assistant Vice President for Research, Office of the Vice President for Research, Indiana University, remarked, “Pam McKeough is one of the most devoted professional staff employees you will find anywhere in the entire IU system. And, while she brings a tremendous amount of very valuable experience to the table, what really stands out most in working with Pam is that she has a heart of gold. She cares deeply about IU, IUPUI, the faculty, the staff, and doing what is right. What more could you ask for? We are fortunate to have Pam at Indiana University.”

All of Pam’s colleagues and friends agree enthusiastically with Mark and Steve. We are indeed lucky that Pam McKeough selected IU as her professional home 30 years ago. Our lives are enriched daily by her presence. Thank you, Pam!
