Group Fitness/Aerobics
Aerobic
classes emphasize cardiovascular conditioning, flexibility, muscular
strength, and coordination through body movement using music. Our
classes last 45-55 minutes.
See our Informal Schedule for list of exact days and times. There is no need to register for these classes, just show up & bring your Jag Tag ID (must have paid semester Recreation fee). All equipment provided! Currently offering summer classes on Tuesdays & Thursday from 5:30p to 6:30p.
Fitness
Walk
This program is offered the first
10 weeks of the fall semester and the second 8 weeks of the spring
semester. All participants will have the opportunity to wear a pedometer
during the 45-50 minute fitness walk. Fitness walking along with
good nutrition helps increase energy, decrease stress and manage

Pilates
The hottest exercise today! Pilates
is the ultimate mind-body exercise for anyone who wants to tone,
streamline, and re-align their body without the bulked up results
of more conventional workout methods. Offered during the Spring and Fall Semester only!
Yoga
The main emphasis is on physical and mental conditioning
through various postures, stretching, breathing and relaxation.
Yoga increases flexibility, while building strength and stamina.
Yoga improves posture, rejuvenates energy levels, relieves stress,
reduces fatigue and diminishes chronic pain. Beginners and intermediate
