Departmental Awards
New Geography Major Scholarship
To be awarded to the most promising new geography major, as selected by Department faculty.
Criteria:
1. at least one year's residence at IUPUI, as either part- or full-time student.
2. declared Geography major and completion of 9-18 credit hours in geography by the end of the spring semester in which the scholarship is given, and
3. one page statement of purpose, including reasons for majoring in geography, anticipated course of study in the major, and plans after finishing the undergraduate degree.
The
scholarship recipient will be announced
at the annual Liberal Arts
Celebration of Scholarship.
Deadline for submission: February 15, annually.
Amount of scholarship: $500.00
