Engineers Without Borders

Letter from the President

This chapter of EWB-USA was founded spring of 2006, and though we got off to somewhat of a slow start, we’re really picking up momentum this year. We have two projects, one in New Orleans and one in Thailand, that we’re working to have sanctioned by EWB-USA and that are already well underway. (You can find information about these projects on the “Current Projects” page.)

Our website is brand new, so it’s still under development, and we welcome suggestions for content that would be helpful to you. The goal of the website is to facilitate communication between our members, and we encourage you to check it regularly as we add new information and usability features.

If you’re already a member, thank you for being part of a great organization that seeks to improve the quality of life of people around the globe through education, through job training, through improved access to the basic necessities like clean drinking water. If you’re not yet a member, we encourage you to contact us and see what kind of opportunity we can offer you to make a difference.

Thank you,

             Ian K. Stoller
