Lymphocytes, monocytes, and dendritic mechanisms regulating the growth, survival and homing/mobilization of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells at cellular, intracellular, and animal levels. - Studies the regulation of blood cell development (Hematopoiesis). This involves research on the proliferation, self-renewal, survival, homing and mobilization of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells and their modulation by cytokines/chemokines both in vitro and in vivo, and the intracellular mechanisms involved. Lab members also study development and differentiation of T-lymphocytes and dendritic cells. |
